Authentication requiredReachable; initialization requires authentication.

An authentication challenge is availability, not an outage — the endpoint is reachable and answering. Passive observation records the challenge and any OAuth discovery metadata without ever authenticating. OAuth-authenticated contract monitoring is planned.
